Statement of Ronald Ruecker Superintendent, International Association of
Chiefs of Police Committee on House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism,
and Homeland Security June 15, 2004 Good Afternoon, Chairman Coble, Representative
Charles and Members of the Subcommittee. I am pleased to be here this afternoon
to present the views of the International Association of Chiefs of Police
on H.R. 218, the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2002. As you know,
the IACP is the world`s oldest and largest association of law enforcement
