THE aim of next week's Reading Summit is to make reading for pleasure a national habit. The event also kicks off the library's National Reading Month held annually in July. This year's month is specifically targeted at families.
"We're trying to say that even if you spend 15 minutes a day reading with your child it's something," says National Library director-general Datuk Zawiyah Baba of the Reading Summit.
