(The Daily Vidette) (U-WIRE) NORMAL, Ill. -- Mike Souza had a problem.

But being over-wanted is a good problem to have.

Souza, the starting quarterback for the Illinois State football team last fall, had his rights claimed by one Canadian Football League team. But they were not interested in playing him this season.

Souza led the Peoria Pirates to a 44-24 win May 29. The Pirates are a team in the Arena Football League 2. Souza threw for 135 yards and completed 11 of his 25 passes in that game for the Pirates. After that win, Souza's agent told him that the Calgary Stampeders were interested in him joining the team.
