Foreign Wine Makers to Set Up Beachheads in Guangdong Province

GUANGZHOU, Jun 24, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Foreign wine makers are rolling into Guangdong Province to set up beachheads there for China's government sharply decreased the tariff of wine import in 2004.

China's tariff of wine import dived from 65 to 14 by far and it will touch zero in the near future. This move stimulates theforeign wine makers to surge into China's market and most of them intend to establish footholds in Guangdong Province.
