'Spider-Man 2' tops U.S. box office
HOLLYWOOD, Jul 05, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Sony's "Spider-Man 2" grossed $180 million in its premier week and topped the U.S. box office, reported the Web site boxofficemojo.com.
"Fahrenheit 9/11," distributed Lions Gate, added $21 million to its box office of $60 million.
Sony's "White Chicks" added $12 million to its box office of $47 million.
Fox's "DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story" added $10 million to its box office $87 million.
