Preparing for asthma attacks important

PHILADELPHIA, Jul 09, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- U.S. researchers found 78 percent of children with asthma who were interviewed while playing were not ready for an asthma attack triggered by exercise.

Researchers at Temple University and other institutions surveyed 579 children -- all 12 years old or younger -- on various playing fields, finding that of the 80 kids who had asthma, only 22 percent had their inhalers with them while they played.
