CYCLING EADIE COATES (SYDNEY)
Australian Olympic chief JOHN COATES says sprint cyclist SEAN EADIE may be stripped
of his Sydney 2000 bronze medal and thrown out of the Athens Games for an alleged doping
offence.
COATES says unless he successfully defends the allegations, EADIE will lose the medal
and any other achievements or medals he has since earned will also be at risk.

Slovenian cyclist MARTIN HVASTIJA of the Alessio team and Italian Saeco rider STEFANO
CASAGRANDA have been thrown out of the Tour de France after being implicated in a doping
case in Italy.
