NEW YORK, Jul 14, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Slim-Fast has dropped Hollywood star Whoopi Goldberg as its spokesman, citing her remarks at a Democratic fund-raiser last week in New York.
The weight loss product maker was referring to a controversy over sexually explicit comments Goldberg made at the fund-raiser for presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry, CNN reported Wednesday.
