Edinburgh film festival prepares to open

EDINBURGH, Scotland, Jul 15, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- A black-and-white film with Bill Murray, a Korean remake of "Dangerous Liaisons" and a Finnish "Pop Idol" satire are set for Scotland's top film festival.

The Edinburgh International Film Festival will run Aug. 18-29 for its 58th year featuring cinema from the United States, Brazil, Korea, Finland and, of course, Scotland, the Scotsman reported Thursday.
