Kuwait is confident it can overcome World Cup semifinalists South Korea on Tuesday and qualify for the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup, its assistant coach said.
"This will be the best game in Group B," said Maher Shamarri.
Going into the final matches in the group, Jordan and South Korea are in the lead with four points and identical goal difference. Kuwait trails by one point, while the United Arab Emirates is last with no points.
Shamarri notes that Kuwait has beaten South Korea in their two previous Asian Cup encounters _ in Lebanon four years ago and in the United Arab Emirates in 1996.
