Trinidad, Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica all made winning starts Tuesday in the West Indies Under-19 cricket tournament's one-day series.

Trinidad and Tobago defeated the Windward Islands by three wickets while Jamaica beat the Leeward Islands by 111 runs under the Duckworth Lewis System. Barbados got past Bermuda with 118 and Guyana triumphed over the Americas team by 42 runs.

Trinidad and Tobago sent the Windwards into bat, dismissing them for 127 in just 38.1 overs with Andre Fletcher making a defiant 34 and Craig Emmanuel who scored 21.
