`PGL' invited to Venice Film Festival

KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs. - Puteri Gunung Ledang, the much-awaited epic saga directed by Saw Teong Hin, will compete at the 61st Venice Film Festival next month.

This is the first time Malaysia has been invited to participate in the world's oldest film festival.
There are 10 films competing in the Venice Midnight category.
