SA: Car travelling 200pkh hits tree, kills four people aboard
ADELAIDE, Aug 6 AAP - Four people are dead after a high-powered Commodore travelling
at about 200kph became airborne and crashed into a tree, three metres above the ground.
The four dead - men aged 30 and 36 and women aged 21 and 23 - were travelling in the
car which crashed into a tree near the South Australian mid-north city of Port Pirie about
5.15pm (CST) yesterday, police said.
Police today criticised the speed at which the borrowed, late-model SS Holden Commodore
was travelling.
