CRT Color TVs Break Up
CHINA, Aug 11, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Insiders point out that CRT color TVs are breaking up for the moment.
Digital high definition CRT TVs are now an import profit sourcefor Chinese TV producers while analog CRT TVs are disappearing from the market.
Although flat panel TVs are very popular in Chinese market, allthe foreign and home distributors hope to enlarge market through new products or lower prices.
In Chinese market, LCT TVs are likely to top 170,000 ones and PDP TVs will have the similar sales.
But the data just account for five percent among the whole TV market in China of nearly USD 10 billion.
