KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - A financial controller and a partner of an audit firm were charged in the Sessions Court today with four counts of providing false information to the Securities Commission.

They were alleged to have done so in a questionnaire pertaining to the use of about RM16.9 million in proceeds from a rights issue.
Tan Kam Sang, 37, of the now delisted Kiara Emas Asia Industries Bhd, and T. Ravandaran, 52, of Messrs Arthur Andersen & Co, claimed trial to the charges.
