(Kansas State Collegian) (U-WIRE) MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Sporting leis and listening to tunes like "Wipeout" and "Pina Colada," residents of Kansas State University's Goodnow Hall were treated to a welcoming luau Tuesday.

"It's a great opportunity for us to build community and bring the residents together," said Nic Kline, a junior in business administration.

Staff served hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks to hungry residents as they mingled in Goodnow's front entrance.
