EVER wondered how the Italian black truffles look like? Head to the Avanti Italian-American Ristorante at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel in Bandar Sunway as the eatery is serving truffle-inspired dishes for patrons to sample for dinner until Sunday.
According to Italian chef Federico Michieletto, black truffle is the most sought-after variety due to its mushy aroma.
"Truffles are best paired with dishes rich enough to stand up to the truffle's pungent aroma, but uncomplicated enough not to distract the truffle experience," he said.
