Children tell truth on witness stand
SAN DIEGO, Aug 31, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Children who testify in court are likely to tell the truth -- even if their parents have asked them to lie, a U.S.-led research team reported.
University of California-San Diego researcher Kang Lee and colleagues wrote that with a significant increase in child witnesses over the past few years they wanted to check the accuracy and veracity of such testimony.
