(Oklahoma Daily) (U-WIRE) NORMAN, Okla. -- From a "Yellow Submarine" to the "Dark Side of the Moon," many music-loving college students have staked out a true admiration and passion for what their generation labels "classic rock."
Some students say they listen to the oldies because they know that without them they would not have today's diverse genres of music. Others say they embrace the sounds of classic rock as a relief for what they call today's talent-lacking or commercialized pop music.
Whatever the case, classic rock is a musical indulgence that is enjoyed not only by people who grew up with it, but also by people who wish they had.
