NSW: Moulin Rouge comes to Sydney
SYDNEY, Sept 3 AAP - Nicole Kidman won't be there, but the Moulin Rouge is coming to Sydney.
The French dance troupe, immortalised in the film of the same name directed by Australian
Baz Luhrmann and starring Kidman, is making a rare trip overseas for four performances
in Sydney next week.
The Moulin Rouge club in Paris is increasingly popular with Australians, with 13 Aussie
dancers currently in the troupe.
Jodi McDonald, 29, who has been with the Moulin Rouge for six years, said the Australians
in the group had a special bond.
