PUTRAJAYA, Wed. - The Federal Court will decide on Sept 15 whether to uphold or overturn Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's corruption conviction.
The three-member panel headed by Court of Appeal president Datuk Abdul Malek Ahmad reserved decision in order to consider arguments put forth by both sides.
Anwar is asking the Federal Court to exercise its power under Rule 137 to set aside the conviction and sentence for corruption imposed by the High Court which was upheld by the Federal Court on July 10, 2002.
