BALTIMORE - There are still too many games on the Yankees' regular-season calendar for Joe Torre to publicly name Orlando Hernandez as his Division Series Game 1 starter.
But who else could it be? Who else on the Yankees' staff would Torre trust more in a short series? "He certainly is cut out for the type of game you need to get pitched at this time of year," Torre said, after El Duque ran his record to 8-0 with Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Orioles at Yankee-fan friendly Camden Yards.
