Fed: Health warning as growth hormone hailed as new HRT

SYDNEY, Sept 13 AAP - Human growth hormone has been billed as the new hormone replacement
therapy, but a hormone expert today warned it could promote diabetes and cancer if used
as an anti-ageing tonic.

Human growth hormone (hGH) could help reduce weight, prevent muscle and bone mass loss,
improve skin tone and mood alternations, anti-ageing practitioner Dr Russell Cooper told
a cosmetic physicians' conference recently.
