Liquid eggs find ready buyers in Singapore

JOHOR BARU, Mon. - There is no ban on eggs from Malaysia to Singapore if they come without shells.

Danish technology has allowed for eggs to be repacked into plastic containers for sale to customers.
"As the liquid eggs go through a stringent process of pasteurisation, the Singapore authorities have allowed import of our liquid eggs into the republic," said Lim Yeow Her, managing director of Huat Lai Resources Bhd, a company based in Malacca, which started packaging and marketing the eggs this way last week.
