(The Shorthorn) (U-WIRE) ARLINGTON, Texas -- Discontented art students launched a formal written complaint against the readiness of facilities at the Fine Arts Annex on Friday afternoon.

Anthropology senior Tiffany Davis composed an e-mail detailing an extensive list of student concerns covering issues of health and safety, inadequate facilities and possible design flaws of the $5.7 million complex, scheduled for an official dedication ceremony Oct. 1.

Copies of the e-mail were forwarded to Andy Anderson, Art and Art History chairman, Provost Dana Dunn, President James Spaniolo and Beth Wright, liberal arts interim dean.
