(Daily Targum) (U-WIRE) NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- While many Rutgers University students see the problems and avoid the solutions, others take matters into their own hands. One student in particular has contributed an enormous amount of time and energy to making sure the issues are handled.

Lauren Michaels, a senior, joined the New Jersey Public Interest Research Group as a first-year student and has been contributing her time and energy in the organization ever since.
