(Sidelines) (U-WIRE) MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The Roman orator Cicero once said that "not to know what came before is to always remain a child." This was an early attempt to explain man's need to recall, to even write down past events and call it history. Something to do about life's lessons learned, I think.

I'm not sure if other disciplines share this need to validate themselves, but in the study of history, the whys and more importantly the hows of history, are hot topics.
