The man who became known as New York City's singing cop is leaving the police force. Daniel Rodriguez became famous when he sang at a World Trade Center memorial service. He sang at the funerals of many victims before taking a leave to pursue a singing career. Now Rodriguez has put in his papers. He says some of his fellow cops asked him what took so long.
