"Whenever I drive into Georgetown for dinner, there is always a
parking space for me within a block of the restaurant," says Jim
Traecy, noting a perk that comes with his seven-foot-long,
electric-powered, non-polluting car. "You know, the kind of space
that a regular car just can't quite fit into."
Every so often, Traecy, who drives his electric car daily,
plugs it into an electrical outlet overnight to recharge the seven
batteries that keep it moving.
Visitors to the National Mall Wednesday between 10 a.m. and
dusk can see Traecy's car as part of the Sun Day Alternative Energy
