LONDON (HedgeWorld.com) - A new closed-end fund of funds being
launched by one of Britain's most high-profile fund managers is to
bring to the London Stock Exchange an investment vehicle combining
private equity, hedge funds and other specialty asset classes. It
promises to bring alternative investing to the masses in Britain for
arguably the first time with a minimum investment of just 1,000
($2,000).
Nicola Horlick, chief executive and co-founder of Bramdean Asset
Management LLP, has launched an initial public offering for Bramdean
Alternatives Ltd. with a ceiling of 250 million ($500 million). The
