IT HAS been a struggle of momentous proportions - but today it
paid dividends.
After years of hard work and endeavour, youngsters in Hull have
hit a milestone in their GCSE results.
More than half of the city's youngsters (51.5 per cent) have
reached the Government benchmark of five A* to C grades.
It is a psychological victory that will spur Hull on to bigger
things.
