Alan Wright (Hessle) and Hull's Jon Samuel are included in East Riding's six-man line-up at Horsforth (Leeds) tomorrow when they will be bidding to win the 36-hole Yorkshire Inter-District Union Team Championship for the first time.

Steve Raybould partnered Lewis Nicholls (Ganton) for East Riding's only success in their weather-hit final YIDU League match of the season, against Halifax-Huddersfield at Halifax (Ogden) last Sunday.

In torrential rain and high winds, only the foursomes, in which East Riding were overwhelmed 10-2, were played, after which it was decided to abandon the 12 singles matches, which were officially marked as halved games.
