A Glen Ellerby try six minutes from time took West Hull to joint
top of the Conference Premier Division table.
The winger went in after another great break by inspirational man-
of- the-match Mark Hewitt.
Until this time West Hull had trailed, as many teams have, to a
robust Wigan St. Patricks.
"It was an outstanding performance for such a young side to come
up against a side like this," said assistant coach Rob Wilson.
"I thought Sam Radford, and Steve Stamp came into the side and
played superbly, but there's no accounting for class.
"Gav Last was tremendous and so was Mark Hewitt. They were the
leaders today.
"It was our best performance of the season and one the lads can be
very proud of.
