Article: West Hull roar back to take council cup glory

West Hull Lions came back from 14-0 down to snatch a 16-14 victory over East Hull Dragons in last night's Council Cup Final at Craven Park.

Led by stand-off half Pete Grayburn, the Lions came up with an excellent second forty minutes.

This came despite the loss of full-back Dave Roberts who was taken to hospital with a back injury.

West Hull made up for losing the Bassett Cup last weekend by lifting their first trophy of the season.

For the Dragons they will have to be satisfied with taking the Yorkshire and BOCM Cups.
