Police are appealing for information about two young women and a
man seen leaving an Aberdeen city centre park around the time that
pounds12,000 worth of damage was done to planted flower crests.
The vandals ripped 15,000 plants out of complicated floral
designs in Union Terrace Gardens during an overnight attack sometime
between 9pm on Wednesday, July 5, and 7.30am the following day.
Last night, investigating officers said a woman was seen leaving
the gardens covered in soil at 5.15am on Thursday, July 6.
She was described as between 18 and 25, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in, with
shoulder length blonde hair and wearing a white T-shirt and blue
denim mini skirt.
