Uk-listed Black Rock Oil and Gas, which has interests in Colombia
and offshore UK, said yesterday it had come to an agreement with
Gemini Oil and Gas Fund II over the costs of drilling and testing the
Monterey appraisal well in the southern North Sea gas basin.
The Monterey prospect, operated by Wintershall, is estimated to
contain 165billion cubic feet of reserves. The appraisal well is
expected to spud early next month.
