Drugs chiefs are investigating whether to ban the date-rape drug chemical that a Scottish bodybuilder smuggled out of the country.

Aberdeen man David Calder, 36, was jailed for nearly six years in California earlier this week for his part in a drug-manufacturing operation.

Calder sold a chemical over the internet which is legal in this country but not in America.
