Thank you, Mr Nicholas Storey - at last someone has had the guts
to speak up for St Austell.
Everything you say is absolutely correct. Not one word that you
have written could we disagree with.
The downfall of St Austell, as you so rightly say, was by the
blocking of Marks & Spencer by a few members of the chamber of
commerce at that time. They were not interested about St Austell,
only themselves, but it backfired and we have all suffered as a
consequence of their greed, and Truro has gained.
Now we have the same scenario again, and still they will not
listen.
St Austell will never be great again unless we can get the big
players, or something unique.
