A donation of pounds20,000 has been made to the Cornish Air
Ambulance after an MP for the county raised the money by appearing on
a celebrity game show.
Julia Goldsworthy, Liberal Democrat MP for Falmouth and Camborne,
raised the cash through her appearance's on Channel 4's The Games.
The MP visited RAF St Mawgan this week to catch up with the crew
of the Air Ambulance and to deliver her pounds20,000 cheque.
Harold Chapman, chairman of the Air Ambulance Trust, said: "I'd
like to say an enormous thanks to Julia on behalf of the Air
Ambulance Trust for picking our charity. The donations from the
