A group of businesses in downtown Huntington is making a
concerted effort to lure more Putnam County residents to shop there.
As members of the Downtown Huntington Partners, Inc. sat around a
conference table having breakfast recently, one member put it
succinctly.
"Putnam County is a market we want to hit badly," said Craig
Warner, director of sales for the Cabell Huntington Convention &
Visitors Bureau which is a member of DHPI.
DHPI is a collection of business and property owners located in
downtown Huntington who are focused on continual improvement and
promotion of downtown Huntington and the surrounding area.
