Rangers fans in Barcelona are facing a ticket fiasco after thousands who bought their tickets from a French agency were told they were cancelled.

Around 2,000 supporters arranged to buy their tickets from agency France Billet but have been told their unofficial bookings are no longer acceptable.

Many fans had however already travelled to Barcelona by the time of the announcement.

Up to 15,000 Rangers fans were set to travel, with only a third holding a ticket. Only 5,000 fans were officially allocated to the Ibrox club.
