Four hardworking eco-warriors are looking forward to a break away
'with no parents' after scooping a top prize in the Humberside
Police Lifestyle Awards.
As reported yesterday, Eco-Logical were among four teams who won
a trip to Disneyland Resort, Paris, at an awards ceremony in Hull on
Tuesday.
To win the prize they hosted fundraising events, encouraging
people to dedicate a tree to a friend or loved one, and getting
local businesses to sponsor a tree.
The St Bede's pupils even managed to get the cast members from
Holby City to sponsor 100 trees.
Group member Erin Dalton (12) said: "It's been hard work, but we
have enjoyed the project. It is good to be a finalist and we are
looking forward ...
