West Hull made it five wins in a row when they came back from an early setback to beat Oulton Raiders.

The Raiders had taken a 6-0 lead but with Mark Hewitt in charge it was going to be a West Hull victory.

Coach Craig Murdock wasn't impressed with the way his side had played in the first half. However, he couldn't have failed to have been delighted with the way his side responded in the second half.

"It's an excellent result considering the amount of players we had missing out there today," he said.

"Jamie Richards and Paul Kirby stepped up from the second team and they really played their part. But I think the difference was Mark Hewitt who along with Dean Thompson was outstanding.
