In a dramatic confession after his arrest, Todd David Burpee said
the girl he is accused of attacking outside a Palo Alto apartment
was just someone to take out his frustration on after a fight with
his girlfriend, according to court documents
With the bloodied victim still covered up in the back of his car,
court documents state, he called his girlfriend while driving to her
home and told her he thought he had just killed someone.
The girl in the back seat of his 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass lay
silent and still.
But when Burpee finally arrived at his girlfriend's home in
