A USB flash drive with a video-out docking station, the TakeTV
makes watching downloadable (or home-ripped) videos a plug-and-play
affair - literally.
Editors rating: 7.4, very good
The good: Enables easy viewing of DivX, Xvid, and MPEG4 videos on
your TV; setup and operation couldn't be simpler; premium content
available via Fanfare online service; flexible aspect ratio control;
doubles as a standard flash drive; modest price tag.
The bad: Compatibility limited to only three video file formats;
no support for photos or music; remote design is somewhat awkward;
Fanfare Web site currently has very limited content options, and -
for now, at least - it's not viewable on other ...
