North County's run-and-shoot offense quickly produced four
second-quarter touchdowns, including three scores in a six-minute
span, as the No. 12 Knights buried host Severna Park, 48-19, last
night to stay in contention for the Anne Arundel 4A title.
Both teams entered last night's game tied in league play with
4-1 records, one game behind Annapolis. But North County, which has
averaged 35 points per game, wasted little time showing the
difference between these two teams' offenses.
"It's a pitch-and-catch, playground offense," said Coach Chuck
Markiewicz, whose North County team won its fourth straight and
