Neil Diamond - The Best Of (Part Two)WHEN Neil Diamond performed
Song Sung Blue for a 1977 TV special, he invited celebrity guests in
the audience on stage to join him. The likes of Helen Reddy and then
LA Mayor, Tom Bradley had no qualms. But Happy Days actor, Henry
Winkler, was more reticent - until Diamond suggested he slip into his
TV character. So, it was The Fonz who sung the chorus to Song Sung
Blue, and reportedly brought the house down.The NBC special was the
first time Diamond had appeared live since his famed Hot August
Nights stage set almost four years earlier. He once explained why
he'd taken the sabbatical. "I was exhausted and wanted a normal
