Ask Elva Young Van Winkle to tell you a story. She needs a
moment to think, of course, to reach into a repertoire built on
decades of delighting children with fun and fanciful yarns - and
teaching others to do the same.
Well, how about the tale of the little rooster whose diamond
button was taken away by an evil turkey sultan? Van Winkle's pale
