MAARI Auto Accessories Sdn Bhd is in talks with Fabricacion de
Automoviles Renault de Espana SA, better known as Renault, to supply
rubber mats for the carmaker worldwide, says Maari Auto's director
Loi Ming Nguong.
"The designs will be patented exclusively for Renault's use," Loi
said, adding that the talks with the French company are centred on
securing a ten-year agreement.
Loi, however, declined to reveal the contract value of the
potential deal with Renault, but did say it will run into several
millions of ringgit.
"The contract value is substantial. If we manage to secure the
contract, it will help contribute some 80 per cent to our revenue,"
