Article: Subur Tiasa up on active share buyback exercise

SUBUR Tiasa Holdings Bhd gained 8 sen to close at RM1.92 last week, helped by a purchase of about 1.2 million of its own shares on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).

The timber company acquired as much as 55 per cent of the total 2.2 million of its shares traded last week at between RM1.80 and RM1.85 apiece.

Gains made by Subur Tiasa were also extended to Golden Frontiers Bhd, another company which took the opportunity during the week to buy back some of its own shares.
